Journey to Wonderland

Journey to Wonderland tells the story of an old man fulfilling his last wish of visiting his favorite amusement park as a child before passing on to the afterlife. The project drew visual inspiration from Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Spirited Away, and Wes Anderson's work. People are able to interact with the digital artwork to guide the old man to his final destination.

The experience was built in Unity, where I focused on bringing still illustrations to life through animation and timing. Using the Timeline editor, I choreographed layered sprite animations to simulate movement, depth, and atmosphere—making the static, fantastical world feel alive. Every scene was carefully sequenced with parallax effects, lighting shifts, and interactive triggers to draw players deeper into the story’s dreamlike journey.
